7 Gorgeous Hairstyles for Holiday Party Season

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is next week. With all of the different events and parties approaching, this is a prime time to experiment with a stylish new look. Now that you have the perfect dress and shoes for your Holiday party, it’s time to find a gorgeous hairstyle to pull the whole look together. All of these hairstyles are easy and can be done at home. Have fun with your mane this year and try one of these holiday hairstyles! Make sure your hair is clean and ready to be styled.

1. Half Up Flower Braid

1. Lightly spray the ends of your hair with hairspray.
2. With a curling iron 1.5″-2″, loosely curl the ends of your hair to create a natural looking flip.
3. Starting right above your ears, section off the hair you will be putting up in the braid and tie with and elastic band.
4. With the small ponytail begin doing a normal braid. When finished secure with another elastic band .
5. Pull the sides of the braid to make it loose.
6. Begin rolling the braid together to create the flower.
7. Secure the flower braid with bobby pins and finish with a light hairspray.

2. Half Up With A Bow/Hair Clip

1. Spray hair with hairspray.
2. Taking big sections, loosely curl your hair to create a natural looking wave.
3. Tease the top part of your hair to add volume.
4. Starting at your temples, section the top part of your hair off and tie with an elastic band. Pull on pony tail to tighten and volumize the front section.
5. Tie bow around the elastic band.
6. Finish by spraying your entire head with hairspray.

3. Wavy With a Side Braid

1. Spray hair with hairspray.
2. Taking small sections, begin curling your hair.
3. When curling is completed, section off a small part of your hair that you will use for the braid.
4. Braid hair and secure with an elastic band.
5. Pull braid to the back of your head so it sits straight.
6. Secure the end of the braid with bobby pins.
7. Finish with hairspray.

4. Sock Bun With a Twist

1. Begin by straightening or blowing out your hair so that is completely straight and ready to style.
2. On the right side of your head, section out from the middle of the right eyebrow to just behind the ear. Put to the side. (you will come back to it)
3. Take the rest of your hair and put it into a high ponytail.
4. Put ponytail through the hole of the sock bun, and begin tucking your hair under the sock bun so it is neat and no hair is visible.
5. With the section of hair you left out, wrap it around your head to create the twist look.
6. Tuck the ends of this section into the sock bun.
7. Finish with hairspray.

5. Big Wavy Pony tail

1. Spray hair with hairspray.
2. Taking medium sections, begin curling your hair to make waves.
3. Tease the top part of your hair to add volume.
4. Gather your hair to put in a ponytail, leaving the top of your hair bumped up.
5. Finish with hairspray.

6. Fishtail Braid

1. Spray hair with hairspray.
2. Brush all of your hair to the right side.
3. Starting at the top of your hair begin fish tail braiding your hair all the way to the end.
4. Secure with an elastic band.
5. Finish by lightly spraying with hairspray.

7.  Simple Long Wavy Curls 

1. Spray hair with hairspray.
2. With a curling iron 1.5″-2″ begin curling your hair in medium sections.
3. When curling is completed flip hair over and lightly tussle it.
4. Finish with hairspray.
